Project Clothes

Project Coordinators:

Melissa Herbein, 717-580-5898,

Meg Brown, 717-448-4091,

The purpose of Project Clothes is to supply clothing items for students and families in need.

Current Needs

  • Plastic tube hangers

  • Large shopping bags

Operation Wildcat is not accepting clothing donations until February 1st. We need time to get caught up sorting through all the donations we already have in the basement. While we appreciate all of your donations, please hold on your clothing donations until February 1st. OW is still accepting back to school items, personal hygiene products and books in all bins. Housewares and yard sale donations are still being accepted at the warehouse on Saturdays and Sundays 1-3pm.

In the interim, we may post specific items needed for families; please only donate those items as they will be going directly to families.  Thank you for your support and understanding.

Once we are accepting donations, please label all bags of donations. If you have a large donation, please contact Melissa Herbein, or Meg Brown, to make arrangements.

Tax/donation receipts available upon request.

Project Clothes Clean Up Days 2022

Sign up:

OW is overwhelmed with donations so we need lots of help going through donations. We have scheduled clean up days in the MMS basement to work on all the clothing donations. These times are open to adults and children 12 years and older (they do not need an adult to stay with them). The work will be done in Operation Wildcat Storage Room at MMS. There is no heat in the room so please dress accordingly. Also, all social distancing procedures will be in place which includes wearing a mask for the duration of the service. We will meet in the lobby of MMS before heading down the room. Please contact Meghan Brown,, with any questions.

January 30th 1-3pm
